Hotel was fairly clean, superfriendly and outstandingly accommodating staff.

The location was unbeatable, in the city centre, in the pretty comfortable area. Also, we were 3 km from our favourite spot Walls of Chester.

The location is really ideal adjacent to a railway line. And it's nestled in a pretty building near the centre, Chester, and fast food outlets.

The location it has close enough to the pub down the road, and fast food outlets is convenient. It has very amiable employees at check-out.

The location was stunning and convenient, near to Chester, the pub down the road and public transport. There was Domino's Pizza nearby, offering quick meals. I booked king studio, it was fantastic and complete with a very comfortable bed as well as coffee.

The location was great and unbeatable: convenience stores and shops were within walking distance. It was about 10 km from the airport.

Booked this for a 2 night stay for my partner’s birthday, what a great decision. The little touches were greatly received, a birthday bottle and card for my partner, a selection of food for us to have for breakfast, etc. The room was done out to a high standard and as requested they were able to accommodate my request for the room with the free standing bath, which was just amazing. The staff were very helpful and very accommodating. The bath was also just heaven and a perfect end to the day after walking around!

Lovely modern decor and comfortable beds. The kitchenette was a great addition for our stay, allowing us to cook our own meals. The location was convenient, with a short bus ride into the city center. Despite a couple of minor issues, the hotel made an effort to rectify them promptly. I would recommend this hotel for a stopover in the area.

The staff at The City Hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They ensured a smooth check-in process, even accommodating our late arrival. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and well-designed. We were pleasantly surprised with the extra touches like the snack hamper and complimentary G&T in the fridge. The hotel also provided a great breakfast, and the coffee was exceptional. Despite being situated slightly outside the center, the hotel exceeded our expectations and offered a great experience. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent customer service and comfortable accommodations.

The City Hotel had a beautifully modern design and was a true pleasure to stay in. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the spacious bathtub was pure bliss. The added touch of fresh milk and water in the fridge was a nice gesture. The host was friendly and willing to assist with any requests. Additionally, the convenient location near free parking, a supermarket, and local pubs was a bonus. I would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Located close to Chester city centre, The City Hotel offers easy access to attractions and amenities. However, being adjacent to a railway line, there might be some noise disturbances for light sleepers. The hotel provides spacious rooms with well-stocked mini-fridges and various hand/hair soaps. The friendly staff offers exceptional service and a warm welcome. Guests can also enjoy the convenience of a kitchen with supplied cutlery. it is an ideal place to stay if in the area.

One minor drawback is the lack of curtains covering the walk-in showers, which may be a concern for some guests' privacy.

We had the best stay just outside the city! The staff were attentive, especially Charlotte, who was incredibly helpful. The room was beautiful and comfortable, with a kitchenette and lounge area for added convenience. The staff organized a taxi, offered refreshments, and were understanding when we arrived early. We highly recommend this hotel for its spacious rooms and easy access to the city.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

The decor around the hotel is fresh and modern, creating a beautiful atmosphere. The studio room we stayed in was incredible, with a free-standing bath and all the amenities we needed. The hotel had modern technology, like key card access and a ring room bell for added security. We loved the convenience of having a modern TV with chromecast, allowing us to connect our devices and watch our favorite shows. The room also had tea, coffee, milk, a Nespresso machine, and a microwave/oven that was easy to use. we loved everything about the hotel and appreciated its proximity to Chester and Wales. We would definitely recommend it to others and would come back again. The staff were also friendly and made our stay incredible.
